Working with schools

One of the strengths of Open Futures is the opportunity it provides for schools to talk to and learn from each other.

Schools new to the programme can visit existing Open Futures schools, learn more about the management of the learning programme directly from experienced Headteachers and observe Open Futures lessons.

Once involved in the programme, you will become a member of the Open Futures Online Learning Community, which provides opportunities for schools to share experiences and expertise with each other as well as with your curriculum specialist, other partners and experts.

Following askit training, teachers will be able to share P4C teaching ideas and stimulus materials and seek advice from each other.

You will have the opportunity to attend Open Futures conferences, which will allow you to meet Open Futures representatives from other involved schools (both local and national) as well as with trainers from all four strands.
