Option A £700 a year, includes:

  • 1 day Consultancy from a Curriculum advisor
  • 2 free places at the Open Futures National Conference
  • Membership of the Open Futures Online Community for all staff

Option A £700 a year, includes:

  • One day consultancy visit from an experienced Open Futures curriculum adviser to provide advice and support on training and development. Open Futures is about developing relationships to effect long term change. Our curriculum team are all experienced school leaders and senior educationalists. (Consultancy visits are currently only available in certain areas. Please see the website or contact the office for further details.)
  • Membership of the Open Futures Online Community for all staff. The Community is a vital part of the Open Futures Programme. It provides an ongoing service to schools giving direct access to trainers from each of the strands and curriculum advisers, a library of resources and conversations to support good practice and share useful ideas with peers. (N.B. Some teaching resources related to strand training are only available to schools once they have completed the relevant training).
  • Two free places at the Open Futures National Conference. This annual event brings together headteachers and teachers and is an opportunity for you to meet each other, enjoy keynotes and workshops from influential national and local educationalists, politicians and well known personalities who support the Open Futures movement for Skills and Enquiry-based learning. Conferences also provide help to identify funding opportunities.
  • A copy of the NEW Open Futures Handbook. The handbook is full of advice and guidance for school management teams at all stages of developing independent learning through Open Futures.
  • Membership of Open Futures Local and National school networks. Through Open Futures you will meet lots of heads, teachers and governors in schools across England and India. You will automatically be included in a group of Open Futures Schools close to you or you can set up your own.
  • A copy of our 'Enquiry Based Learning and Open Futures' book, commissioned exclusively for members of the Open Futures Network.
  • Access to training courses and conferences developed exclusively for members of the Open Futures Network. (Training courses are currently only available in certain areas. Please see website or contact the office for further details.)
  • A 10% discount on Open Futures CPD courses. (This offer only extends to training offered as open CPD in the Open Futures CPD course brochure and does not extend to core training and development).
