About Bill Lucas

Prof Bill Lucas is one of the country's leading educational thinkers and inspirational speakers. Currently Co-Director of the Centre for Real-World Learning at the University of Winchester, Bill was formerly founding CEO of Learning through Landscapes and the Campaign for Learning and was also a deputy headteacher of a large London Secondary school.

Bill is a prolific author. His latest book, (with Guy Claxton) is New Kinds of Smart: how the science of learnable intelligence is changing education. In January 2011 Bill's book rEvolution: how to thrive in crazy times won the Management Book of the Year, innovation category.
